About Patricia
Patricia Cale, a highly regarded local artist, has been represented in many fine galleries and collections across Australia. Her art practice is very broad, encompassing life drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media and sculpture.
She trained formally in England in the sixties and since then has produced many very diverse works. Her forte is her ability to capture her subject in a simple yet very rich and lyrical way.
Her current exhibition at Maleny Art Works runs from 28 October to 18 November and, from 31 October, the works can also be viewed on the Gallery web site www.malenyartworks.com.
The opening is on Saturday 31 October from 5 pm at upstairs 50 Maple Street.
